Our Show-The History of the World in 65 Minutes!

Our Show!

We have been finding out about what it was like to live in medieval times.

We made castles and knights in shining armour  riding on horses. When we were playing with them we had the idea of making a movie using ANIMATION.

We had to keep the camera in one place and take heaps of photos, 62 actually!

Each time we took a photo we moved the knights just one step. 

Then we put the photos on the computer and made them go fast.

Next we added music and a story to finish it off. 

Isn't it cool!!!

Swimming !

Over the last couple of weeks we have been going to swimming lessons at the ASB Aquatic Centre.

Fairmont is feeling proud of how much better he can swim now.

Learning to use his arms has been hard work but now he is really good at it.

Ava thinks that she is much better at kicking now. Fast little kicks is the trick!

Carlo thinks he is awesome at streamlining and looking at the bottom of the pool while he is swimming.

Hannah is much more confident at floating on her back.

We all think it has been a great thing to do. Everyone is feeling good about their swimming skills!

We are having a great time at school so far this year. 
We have been talking about what helps us to be ready for learning.
Savanna said, "We have to listen when someone is speaking."
Vinnie thinks it is a good idea to put your hand up and not call out.
Jack said, "It is a good idea to sit still on the mat so everyone can concentrate."
We are all trying to cooperate with each other. 
Being brave and trying new things helps us to learn.

Ready...Set...GO!

The holidays are flying by.....soon we will be back at school!
