Here are a couple of the stories we wrote about it .
On Wednesday we went to Bishop’s School.
“Knock! knock! “Go to the other door”
“Come on kids,” said Raewyn.
“Oh no!” I said. “I am going to get whacked, it’s got to hurt!”
I sat with Maxwell on the desk. Mr Green had a whip and a whacker and a dunce hat. It had a ‘D’ on it. The chairs went up and down. It was noisy and cold, the fire wasn’t going.
There was an old piano and I played on it. One of the keys
was wooden. Some of the desks had an ink hole and some had holes in them. It was extremely awesome to be there!

Yesterday we went to Bishop’s School. Waimea, Moutere and Kahurangi went.
When we got there, there was a big box. I wondered what was in the box. Then the box opened and there were clothes in it, I put them on.
After that we came to a door. The teacher yelled,
“Go around to the other door.”
I was scared! When I went in the door it was very different. When I went in I sat on a wooden desk. The chairs couldn’t move out but they could go up and down.
I saw the dunce hat. We sang a song then we got out of the desks and had a look around. I saw the writing they used to do. They kind of did curly writing, I couldn’t read it. I saw that the window was really high and it had little squares on the window.
