We decided to find out if we could CHANGE cream.
What would happen if we...... heated it?......froze it?....... beat it? ...... shook it?
We have put some in the freezer and will have a look at it next week.
We are going to heat some in the microwave and some in a hot pan.
Here is what happened when we shook it heaps in a jar.
It was splashy, then it went quiet.
When we looked it had gone really thick and puffy.
We kept on shaking it and it started to sound sloshy and it was thumping so we had another look .
It had changed, there was runny liquid that looked like thin milk and lumps of yellow stuff that looked like butter.
We tipped off the liquid and kept on shaking it. It turned into a big soft lump of yellow.
We had made BUTTER!
We tried it out and it tasted like butter.It was soft and slippery
What an amazing CHANGE we made just by shaking cream!
